For conferences, workshops and events

Certificates for the people who came. Not the people who registered.

Check people in at the door, give speakers, delegates and volunteers their own certificates, and hold certificates until the feedback form is done. One program, one list, one send.

500 certificates ready to sign 30 missing a session or the form
An example conference with five roles. 500 people qualify for a certificate and 30 are still missing a session or their feedback.

One conference day

From the registration desk to certificates by five o'clock.

  1. 08:30

    The doors open.

Volunteers scan each person's pass with a link on their own phone. No account, no app, and it keeps counting when the hall Wi-Fi gives up.

  2. 11:00

    Session two starts.

A code on the projector changes every 30 seconds. People scan it or type it, so last half-hour's photo of it is no use to anyone who stayed home.

  3. 16:45

    The feedback form.

A short form on everyone's pass, from your own questions or the CME evaluation template. You see who finished it, not who said what.

  4. 17:00

    Certificates, on the spot.

With self-claim on, everyone who qualifies confirms how their name should read and gets their signed certificate on their pass. No queue at the desk.

Check-in

Four ways to know who was there.

Use one, or mix them across sessions. Every mark is kept, and a wrong one is voided with a reason, never quietly deleted.

  • At the door

A scanner link for each volunteer reads people's pass QR codes on any phone, and works on poor Wi-Fi.

  • On the screen

A code on the projector that changes every 30 seconds. People scan it or type it.

  • By hand

Tick names, or paste a list of emails from your own sign-in sheet.

  • From a report

Upload a Zoom or Google Meet attendance report and count only people who stayed long enough.

Roles

Speakers, delegates and volunteers get different certificates.

A role is a kind of certificate a program gives out. Each can say what it's for, number its certificates on its own, and use its own design. Choose who qualifies for each: any session, a number of sessions, every session, or chosen ones.

One person can hold several roles. Add a Role column to your spreadsheet, and Nyvarra matches “Speaker” to your roles and asks about any it doesn't recognise.

On the record

“Checked in to 3 of 3 sessions”, signed into the certificate.

Turn on attendance evidence and the certificate's signed record says how many sessions its holder attended. Anyone who scans it sees that line on the verification page, so a certificate for a three-day course can't stand in for an afternoon.

What it costs

Organization and above
More sessions per program, door scanners, Zoom and Meet report imports, and self-claim. See plans.
A one-off conference

Frequently Asked Questions

Do attendees need an account?

No. Everyone gets a personal pass link. Send the links from your own email or WhatsApp, or share your event page so people can find their own.

What if the venue Wi-Fi fails?

The door scanner keeps working. It queues scans on the phone and sends them when it's back online; they count at the time they were made, up to 48 hours back.

Someone turned up who wasn't on the list.

Walk-ins can check in, and they wait for an organiser to approve them before they count.

Can one person get two certificates?

Yes. A speaker who also attended is added once for each role and gets a certificate for each, numbered separately if you like.

Our sessions were online.

Upload the Zoom or Google Meet attendance report and choose how long someone had to stay to count.

Which plan do I need?

Roles, one session per program, the screen code, marking by hand, passes and feedback are on every plan, Free included. Organization and above add more sessions, door scanners, report imports and self-claim.

Set it up before the programme goes to print.

Make the program, add the sessions and roles, and download pass links for everyone on your list. The rest happens on the day.
