Nyvarra Seal · for certificates made somewhere else

Keep the design.Add the proof.

Already made your certificates in Canva, Word or InDesign? Seal adds a Nyvarra QR code and a signed record to each one, so anyone can check it like a certificate issued on Nyvarra. Your design stays yours.

A ZIP of certificates designed elsewhere fans out, and each one receives a Nyvarra QR code. 214 of 214 are sealed.

How it works

Four steps, from a folder of files to certificates anyone can check.

  1. 1 · Upload

    The files you already have.

A ZIP with one certificate per person, as PDF, PNG or JPG. Or one PDF with a certificate on each page.

  2. 2 · Match

    Every file, to one person.

Nyvarra matches files to your recipient list by filename or page number. Anything it isn't sure about comes to you, and nothing is sealed until every file has exactly one owner.

  3. 3 · Place

    The QR code, once.

Put the code and serial where they fit your design. The placement is saved and applied to the whole batch.

  4. 4 · Seal

Then download, and send your way.

Each certificate gets its own signed record and its own QR code. Seal doesn't email anyone: send the sealed copies however you send things now.

Under the seal

What happens to each file.

Seal doesn't just print a QR code on a picture. Each certificate gets the same signed record as one designed on Nyvarra, and a chain that ties your original file to the sealed one. If any step fails, nothing is issued.

  1. The original's fingerprint

Taken from the file you uploaded, before anything changes.

  2. A signed record

Who it's for, what it's for and when, signed with your organization's key.

  3. The sealed file's fingerprint

Taken from the finished PDF, QR code and all.

  4. A manifest that ties them together

Signed too, so the record, the original and the sealed copy can't be swapped for others.

Already digitally signed?

Some files shouldn't be touched at all.

If a PDF in your ZIP already carries a digital signature, Seal notices and asks you first. You can seal it without changing a single byte: no QR code is drawn on it, the original signature still holds, and the Nyvarra record and its proof are kept alongside the file.

Seal tells you a signature is there. It doesn't claim to have checked that earlier signature, and it never will.

Seal or Studio

Which one is for you?

Both give every certificate the same signed record and the same verification page. The difference is where the design comes from, and who sends it.

Seal

The certificates already exist.

  • Your files, your design, untouched apart from the QR code
  • You download the sealed copies and send them yourself
  • Good when every certificate is already designed and personalised

Certificate Studio

The certificates don't exist yet.

  • Design once in Nyvarra, or import your artwork and set the fields
  • Nyvarra signs and emails every certificate, with a delivery log
  • A corrected name re-renders the certificate for you

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Seal change my design?

It adds the QR code and serial where you placed them, and nothing else. For PDFs that are already digitally signed, it can leave the file exactly as it is and keep the proof alongside it.

Does Seal email the recipients?

No. You download the sealed certificates and send them however you like: your own email, WhatsApp, or printed.

What does someone checking a sealed certificate see?

The same verification page as any certificate issued on Nyvarra: your organization, the recipient, the program, the date and its current status.

Are our files sent to an AI service?

No. Seal never sends your certificates or your recipient list to an AI service.

Which files work?

PDF, PNG and JPG, in a ZIP with one file per person, or one PDF with a certificate on each page. A PDF with several pages that's already digitally signed can't be split without breaking its signature, so Seal won't take it.

Which plan includes Seal?

Organization, Institution and Enterprise. See plans.

The certificates you already made can be checkable this week.

Seal is on Organization and above. Make a program for the batch, add its recipients, and open Seal.
