Getting them in

You don't upload anything. Your certificates find you.

Certificates issued on Nyvarra are tied to the email address they were sent to. Confirm an address once, and every certificate sent to it, past and future, is in your Passport.

  1. 1
    Your account email

Everything already sent to it appears the moment you sign up.

  2. 2
    Your other addresses

Add a university or work email. Once you confirm it, its certificates join the rest.

  3. 3
    An address you've left behind

Claim certificates sent to an old address with a confirmation link that lasts 45 minutes.

  4. 4
    Badges from elsewhere

Import Open Badges from other platforms. They stay private until you choose otherwise.

Who sees what

One Passport. Four different views.

Every certificate is public, unlisted or private. Scroll to see the same Passport the way each person sees it.

  1. You

Everything, and where you put it.

Signed in, you see every certificate with its setting beside it. Change one and nobody else's view changes until you say so.

  2. A visitor

    Only what you made public.

Anyone who opens your Passport link sees your public certificates. Unlisted and private ones aren't there, and nothing hints that they exist.

  3. Someone you sent one link

    One certificate, nothing else.

An unlisted certificate opens for whoever has its link. Send it to one employer without putting it on your Passport.

  4. A recruiter

    Each one checked, live.

Your recruiter view puts every public certificate's result beside it, straight from the issuer's record. Withdrawn or replaced would say so here.

You can also hide your country and affiliation, keep search engines away, or make the whole Passport private. Your mobile number is never shown. A certificate's own verification link keeps working for anyone you've given it to, because that's how it gets checked.

Sharing

The person checking sees the record, not your screenshot.

An attached PDF can be edited. A link opens the issuer's own record with today's status, so nobody has to take your word for it, or ours.

  • Your Passport link

One address for everything you've made public.

  • A recruiter view

The same Passport with each certificate's live result beside it.

  • LinkedIn and WhatsApp

LinkedIn opens with the name, issuer, date and link filled in. On WhatsApp the link shows a picture of the certificate.

  • A QR share card

For the back of a CV or an interview folder. It opens your recruiter view.

  • Print my Passport

A PDF with a cover and an index of your current certificates, each with a QR code beside it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Keeping, sharing and checking certificates are free for everyone, with no trial that ends.

I got a certificate by email but I don't have an account.

Sign up with the address it was sent to. Every certificate issued on Nyvarra to that address appears in your Passport.

It went to an old university email.

Claim it from your Passport. A confirmation link goes to that address and lasts 45 minutes, so do it while you can still open that inbox. If you can't any more, the organizer can correct the address and resend it.

Can I add a certificate that wasn't issued on Nyvarra?

Yes, if it's an Open Badge 3.0. It keeps its original issuer and shows what checking its proof found; a proof Nyvarra can't check says so, and is never shown as verified. How importing works.

Is the Passport number an ID?

No. It's a reference for your Passport, not an identity document.

What happens if I delete my account?

You have 7 days to change your mind. After that your sign-in, Passport and collections are deleted. Certificates issued to you stay with the organizations that issued them and can still be checked, because they're the issuer's record.

Your next application deserves better than a screenshot.

Sign up with the email your certificates were sent to. They'll be waiting.
