Manage notifications and follow work that needs attention
Find unread messages, certificate updates and billing notices, and choose your personal email preferences.
Notifications point you to work or changes such as a conversation reply, certificate update, team event or billing action. The notification is a route to the underlying record; opening it does not necessarily complete the task it describes.
Review the notification inbox
- Open Notifications in the issuer workspace, or the notifications area in Passport.
- Use All, Unread or the available category filters to find the relevant update.
- Open the linked request, certificate or order and read its current state.
- Take the required action in that record, then use the inbox's read controls to keep your list useful.
Choose email preferences
Open Settings → Notifications. The available preferences include conversation-reply emails and certificate-expiry reminders. These are personal settings and apply across the teams you belong to. They do not change every teammate's preferences or automatically stop the certificate emails sent to recipients.
If an email did not arrive
Check the underlying conversation or record first, then your notification preference and spam folder. An email can be delayed even when the in-app update exists. Do not infer that a correction was declined or a send failed simply because its notification email is absent.
Use activity and audit records appropriately
Where your plan provides an audit log, use Audit to investigate recorded issuer actions. It serves a different purpose from personal notifications: a notification draws attention to an event, while an audit record helps explain who changed something. Neither is a substitute for the certificate's own current verification status.
