October 2026

  1. IssuersCheckingSecurity

Your own server can read your certificates

Issuers can look up their own certificates from their own systems with a read-only key. Withdrawn certificates no longer hand out their files.

    • Ask Nyvarra for a read-only API key, and your systems can look up up to 100 of your certificates at a time by serial, as they stand now.
    • A withdrawn or replaced certificate's PDF and Open Badge files are no longer served, so an old copy can't be passed off from its own link.
    • Every Nyvarra email now reads properly in dark mode.

Computers talking to computers. We mostly stayed out of it.

September 2026

  1. BillingSecurity

Pay by bank transfer, with an order page

Every plan or credit purchase gets its own order page, and payment is confirmed within 24 hours.

    • Each order has an ID (NV-XXXX-XXXX) and a page where you upload the transfer receipt.
    • Bank details appear only when you ask for them, never in emails or on invoices.
    • Sign-up emails are now branded and come from [email protected].
    • Every change to Nyvarra's database is now backed up continuously, with daily copies kept offsite for a year.

No card details, no surprise charges, just a very official-looking order number.

  2. CheckingHoldersSecurity

A verification result anyone can read

The verify page now leads with the answer in plain words, then the record to compare, then what was checked.

    • Seven clear results: Genuine, Replaced, Expired, Withdrawn, Doesn't match, Key withdrawn and Not confirmed.
    • A live status page at /status, with 90 days of history.
    • A notification bell, and support conversations with Nyvarra from inside the app.
    • Holders can ask an issuer to correct a certificate from their Passport.
    • Sign-up is protected against bots and disposable email addresses.

Seven results, zero jargon. We counted.
