What we check before your organization's name can appear on certificates.

Because a certificate's value depends on who issued it, a person reviews every organization before it can issue under its own name.

What we look at

That the organization exists, from its legal name, website and registration details.
That you're authorized to issue on its behalf. You confirm this during setup.
That the contact details are real and reachable.

You can keep preparing programs while you wait. Check progress any time on Application status.

Verifying your organization's domain is optional and separate from approval. It adds "Organization domain verified" to your certificates. See Verify your organization's domain.
