Issuing as yourself or as an organization

Every certificate names its issuer. You can issue in two ways.

• As yourself: available as soon as you confirm your email. Certificates show your name and say the issuer is an email-confirmed individual.
• As an organization: your organization's name appears on certificates once its application is approved.

You don't have to decide up front. Start a program under your own name, and if an organization is approved later you can move that program to it, as long as no certificates have been sent from it yet. See Move a program to your organization.
