Review a request to use your signature on certificates

A guide for invited signatories: verify your email, inspect every certificate type, approve or decline, and stop future use.

An organizer may invite you to approve use of your signature on a set of certificates. Read the request as a permission decision: it identifies the issuer, certificate types, design and how your name or signature will appear.

Review before approving

  1. Open the private invitation and confirm the invited email with the code sent to that inbox.
  2. Check the issuer, set, your printed name and designation, and every certificate type included in the request.
  3. Inspect each preview. Confirm the wording describes something you are willing and authorized to endorse.
  4. Choose an offered method. Draw your own signature, or authorize the organizer to choose a handwriting style for the stated signing name.
  5. For a drawing, use the drawing in the preview and inspect the result before continuing.
  6. Read the consent statements, confirm only if you agree, and choose Approve signature use. Otherwise choose Decline and explain what needs changing.

Understand delegated handwriting

If you choose the handwriting-style method, the organizer may change the style later without asking again within that delegated permission. It renders your approved signing name; it does not reproduce your natural signature. Choose the drawn method if you want the approved drawing instead and that method is offered.

Visibility and retention

People who hold or verify a certificate can see the signature on it. Nyvarra retains the approved signature while certificates using it exist. Review this before approving; the flow is not a private document-signing exchange that disappears after the organizer downloads it.

Stop future use

Use the signature-management link and verified access flow to inspect your approvals and stop future use when appropriate. Stopping permission does not erase signatures from already-issued certificates or automatically withdraw those certificates. If an existing certificate is disputed, contact the issuer and support with its serial.

Permission has no automatic end date in this flow. An expired invitation link is an access problem, not proof that an earlier approved grant expired. Ask for a fresh invitation or use the management access route when needed.
