Revoke a certificate

Withdraw a certificate that should never have been issued.

Revoking is for certificates that shouldn't exist at all, for example one issued to someone who didn't complete the course. To fix a detail, correct it instead.

Open the certificate from your program's list.
Choose Revoke Certificate and give a reason. The reason is kept in your records.

From then on, anyone who checks it sees "This credential was revoked". Revoking can't be undone, and it doesn't return a certificate to your allowance.
